Economic Development Officer Coming to Iroquois Falls

Good news for Iroquois Falls: a new economic development officer is on the way. SADC North Claybelt CFDC just received $297,000 in federal funding to hire a regional economic development officer. This person will support forestry, mining, and tourism opportunities right here in Iroquois Falls and nearby communities. It's part of a bigger push to create jobs and strengthen what makes our region strong. Mayor Tory Delaurier has made job creation one of his top priorities following his re-election, and this funding shows that folks in Toronto and Ottawa see the same potential we do.
