Sam's Grill · Iroquois Falls
Iroquois Falls was Sam's first step north — a mill town on the Abitibi River that built a century of Canada's paper and kept its Main Street through everything since. When a new restaurant opens in a town like this, it's news, and the town treated it that way. We're at 239 Main Street, which is exactly where we belong: the North doesn't drive to a highway pad for dinner, and it shouldn't have to.
Every Sam's Grill is run by the family that owns it — ours is no different. The Keval family has been behind the counter in Iroquois Falls since 2024, pressing the patties, learning the regulars' names, and arguing (gently) about whether the Barnyard Burger is the best thing on the board. Come decide for yourself. Up here a hot meal matters more. Winter's long, the drive's long, and people want somewhere warm at the end of it. That's what this counter is for.
Meet Keval
Time in the kitchen and time on the floor, Keval brings both to Sam's Grill. He's a local owner, so the people he's serving are his neighbours. Passionate about great cooking and even more passionate about looking after guests, which is why so many of them come back.
